Summary

Experience Ireland’s rich contribution to literature, while taking in beautiful landscapes and charming towns, with a stay in a 14th-century castle. From the immortal poetry of William Butler Yeats to the groundbreaking fiction of James Joyce and the plays of George Bernard Shaw, Samuel Beckett, and Oscar Wilde, Ireland has produced a vast body of world-renowned literature. Our exploration of the Emerald Isle takes us to literary haunts scattered across the land; to dramatic seascapes and picturesque villages; offering an experience for those who want to see beyond the tourist façade and explore the deeper artistic and cultural facets of this small, complex island. From Dublin, steeped in literary wealth, we crisscross the island to the hinterlands of Donegal, and walk in the footsteps of Yeats and Joyce, in Galway and Ennis.
