Summary
Costa Rica is home to more than 840 bird species in an area no larger than West Virginia. From Resplendent Quetzals and Scarlet Macaws to Brown Pelicans and humming birds, there are more bird species in Costa Rica than in all of North America combined. Join birding expert Rob Pacheco and local naturalist guide Esteban Biamonte on this 11 day journey and study Costa Rican avifauna in their natural settings, ranging from mountains, seashores, mangroves, highland and lowland forests, rain forests and more.
