Summary

India is home to 14% of the world's birds, roughly 1,200 species.

Target birds include the Indian Courser, Little-ringed and Kentish Plover, Black Ibis, Crow Pheasant, Copper Smith Barbet, Racket-tailed Drongo, Oriental Turtle Dove, Malabar-pied Hornbills, Black Bittern, Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher, and Zitting Cisticola (Streaked-fantail Warbler), to name a few.

We also spend time in one of the world’s best tiger reserves, with an excellent opportunity to see these majestic predators, and we will visit the famed Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Optional extension to Kaziranga, without doubt one of the truly great wildlife sanctuaries of southern Asia.
