Summary

Highlights of this trip…

Bird in the company of one of the world’s most professional birding guides, Don Messersmith, who has led trips all over the world for more than half a century.

Don has birded in 117 countries, but Brazil is one of his most favorite, the birding is that extraordinary.

The itinerary is designed to explore 4 distinct habitats, the Amazon rainforest, the Chapada savannah, the Pantanal wetlands, and the Itatiaia Atlantic forest, all on one grand trip.

Previous trips to these locations have seen well over 400 species. The list is compiled and reviewed each evening. Previous travelers have seen more than 100 species in a single day birding in the Pantanal.

We stay in charming and ideally located eco-lodges that place us right in the midst of the birds.

Bird on foot, by boat, by open “safari” vehicles, and upon a 50-foot canopy tower.

All the logistical details are taken care of so you can maximize your time birding.

Please read more to determine for yourself that this is a truly extraordinary birding experience and a great value at the all-inclusive price of $5,495.
