Summary

Cyprus:
Cyprus, the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, is a beautiful and fascinating island-nation studded with ancient olive trees, terraced vineyards, pristine mountainous terrain and stunning Mediterranean coastlines.

This specially designed program is a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy Cyprus with a small group of travelers. Discover the island's history as we visit Neolithic, Roman, Byzantine and Medieval sites. On a lighter side, we'll feast on traditional specialties including haloumi cheese and wines grown from grapes harvested since Roman times.

Jordan:
Don't miss the optional extension to Jordan, an archaeological treasure trove. Travel through Lawrence of Arabia's Wadi Rum; tour the well preserved Roman Decapolis city of Jerash; ascend to Saladin's legendary Ajloun; view the Promised Land from Mount Nebo; and walk or ride through the "siq" into legendary Petra. We will "swim" in the Dead Sea, shop in the enticing bazaars, and enjoy a traditional dinner with a family in Amman.
