Summary

Experience the rich cultural treasures and heritage of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, countries filled with magnificent temples and pagodas, ornate colonial buildings, impressive archaeological sites, and scenic waterways. The interesting history and stunning beauty of this fabled region, coupled with the genuine hospitality of its people, will make this a trip to remember. With special arrangements throughout the program, this unique itinerary is not to be missed.

Participants have the option of joining the program in whole or in part, which begins in Vietnam. Settled more than 4,000 years ago, Vietnam reflects the influences of a succession of empires and would-be conquerors in its architecture, religion, and traditions. Throughout its turbulent history, Vietnam has preserved its rich civilization and highly cultured society, offering us a rare opportunity to see a country of traditional charm and incomparable beauty.

Cambodia awaits next, where we explore the remarkable capital city of Phnom Penh, its Royal Palace and the sobering Killing Fields. Continue to Siem Reap in the Cambodian jungle and visit the awe-inspiring sacred monumental ruins of Angkor, the crowning achievement of the Khmer empire, widely acknowledged as the most exquisite example of ancient architecture in Southeast Asia.

Finally, don't miss the chance to take part in our journey to Laos. Here we will visit the stunning Patouxay (Lao Arc de Triomphe) monument in Vientiane, explore the winding Mekong River by boat, and pay a special visit to the Children's Cultural Center and Luang Prabang School of Art.
