  • All meals from breakfast on October 27 through breakfast on November 6 (through November 8 for those on the extension).
  • All sightseeing/ natural history excursions and entrance fees to parks, sanctuaries and reserves as outlined in the itinerary.
  • All transfers with luggage handling at the airports and hotels in Peru for those traveling on program dates.
  • Pre-trip service, suggested reading list and pre-departure information.

Excluded

International airfare; airport fees and departure taxes; transfers for those not traveling on the program dates; meals not specified in the daily itinerary; charges for items of a personal nature including laundry, beverages and excess baggage charges; independent travel arrangements; travel and accident insurance;and passport and visa fees

Group Size

This tour outline and pricing is based on a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 18 participants. For a group of 11 - 14 participants a small group surcharge not to exceed $590 may be imposed.

Health

All participants must be in good health. This program is active and involves traveling to high elevations, walking over uneven surfaces and climbing stairs. Not all locations are handicapped accessible. Any condition that may require special medical attention or other accommodation must be reported at the time of your reservation.

Deposit and Final Payment

Reservations will be accepted in order of receipt if accompanied by a completed reservation form and a deposit of $750 per person. Final payment is due by August 26, 2008 and must be paid by check. If there is a significant change in the value of the dollar, a sharp rise in the cost of fuel or other unanticipated circumstance, there may be a slight increase in the cost of the program.

Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds, less a cancellation fee of $300 per person, will be made if we are notified on or before August 26, 2008. No refunds will be granted after that date. All cancellations must be in writing. Trip cancellation/ interruption, medical and baggage insurance are highly recommended and should be considered for your protection, and will be made available to you upon receipt of your initial deposit.

Travel Insurance

Trip cancellation penalties must be strictly enforced. Therefore it is highly recommended that you purchase trip cancellation/interruption or baggage coverage. Information on insurance is available and will be mailed upon receipt of your reservation.

Responsibility

A detailed statement of limitations and exclusions of liability of Siemer & Hand Travel, Inc. and the Harvard Museum of Natural History for property, injury, illness or death will be provided to passengers upon enrollment and is available to prospective travelers upon request.
