Included
- Two nights accommodations at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Nicosia, three nights at the Mediterranean Beach Hotel in Limassol, one night at the Golden Bay Hotel in Larnaca.
- Breakfast daily, four lunches, and three dinners, including welcome and farewell dinners. Wine included with all lunches and dinners.
- All excursions as outlined in the itinerary including entrance fees
- Meetings with researchers from the Cyprus Institute
- Discussions with local leaders to gain insight into the politics of the region.
- All gratuities to drivers and guides
- Local English-speaking sightseeing guides and a Siemer & Hand tour manager throughout the trip.
- All transfers with luggage handling for those traveling on program dates.
- Pre-trip service and pre-departure information.
OPTIONAL EXTENSION INCLUDES
- Three nights at the Crowne Plaza in Amman and two nights at the Crowne Plaza in Petra.
- Breakfast daily, five lunches, and four dinners (including dinner at the home of a Jordanian family).
Excluded
International airfare; flight from Cyprus to Jordan for those taking the optional extension; airport/hotel transfers for those not traveling on program dates; meals not specified in the daily itinerary; charges for items of a personal nature including laundry, beverages and excess baggage charges; independent travel arrangements; travel and accident insurance; and passport and visa fees.
Group Size
The program cost is based on a minimum of 20 participants.
Health
All participants must be in good health. This program is active and involves walking over uneven surfaces and climbing stairs. All locations may not be handicapped accessible. Any condition that may require special medical attention or other accommodation must be reported at the time of your reservation.
Deposit and Final Payment
Reservations will be accepted in order of receipt if accompanied by a completed reservation form and a deposit of $500 per person. Final payment is due by April 3, 2009 and must be paid by check.
Cancellations and Refunds
Refunds, less a cancellation fee of $300 per person, will be made if we are notified on or before April 3, 2009. No refunds will be granted after that date. All cancellations must be in writing.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. An application will be sent to participants upon enrollment.
Responsibility
A detailed statement of limitations and exclusions of liability of Siemer & Hand Travel, Inc. and Bryn Mawr College for loss of property, injury, illness or death will be provided to passengers upon enrollment and is available to prospective travelers upon request.
