Journeys of Discovery

EDUCATIONAL GROUP TRAVEL

The Journeys of Discovery programs are set up especially to meet the interests of the sponsoring organization (usually an alumni organization or museum) and the scholar who is leading the trip. Sponsoring organizations and their lecturers tailor the itinerary to their specific fields of interest and knowledge and use their global contacts to get travelers special access to local sites and experts.

Our clients include the alumni associations of Harvard, Princeton, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Bryn Mawr, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Columbia, Vassar, Cal Tech, University of Virginia, University of Chicago, and others.

We also provide fine arts programs and natural history programs for museums such as the Art Institute of Chicago and the Harvard Museum of Natural History, as well as other leading non-profit organizations such as the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the National Audubon Society, and the American Birding Association.

In 2010, we are offering educational trips in Europe (Italy, Switzerland, Dalmatian Coast, Ireland, England, Russia), Asia (Japan, Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia, Indonesia), South America (Peru, Belize, Guyana, the Galapagos), North America (Hawaii, Canada), the Middle East (Jordan, Israel), Australia, and Africa (Kenya, South Africa). In addition, we will resume operating trips to Cuba as soon as it becomes legally possible.

Not all trips may be listed on this website. If you are interested in joining one of these rewarding trips, or if you have any questions, simply contact us at 1-800-451-4321 or email travel@siemerhand.com
